The ideal candidate will be a business development professional with sharp commercial skills and product expertise, capable of supporting Vipps in the successful launch of multiple services. The successful candidate will have experience and subject matter expertise in mobile payments, mobile commerce, value added services and has a proven track record within digital business solutions with great impact and footprint in Norway or abroad.
Candidates should have a proven track record of building and sustaining strong, successful relationships across traditional consumer verticals, consumer internet companies or emerging start-ups. Applicable experience developing and scaling new business programs are preferred.
Your objective is to provide the management, analytical and business power required to drive product development, adoption and overall business growth of Vipps. As the Business Development Manager, you will focus on developing new relationships with top tier merchants and partners, while strengthening relationships with existing merchants on the future use cases of Vipps.
Goal oriented, highly motivated and able to work under minimal supervision in a cross-functional environment at detailed levels whilst taking account of interdependencies at higher levels.
Effective oral, and written business communication skills with various audiences and levels
Ability to quickly respond to changes in business scenarios, projects and resources - adapting accordingly and positively
Ability to facilitate requirements brainstorming sessions
Effective decision-making – balancing risks and benefits for the overall good of Vipps
Experience in digital solutions, digital strategy, or digital transformations. Experience with mobile payments a big plus
Proven ability to take ownership of digital concepts and facilitate delivery from idea to market launch, whilst minimizing time-to-market
