HR Projects Officer

Responsible for supporting the re-engineering of HR-related processes, undertaking HR-related projects as assigned in order to improve the efficiency, transparency, relevance and overall effectiveness of HR infrastructure. Responsible for ongoing management and updating of the HR Policy & Procedure Manual.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Policies & Procedures: Project-manage (or support as necessary) the development, review and re-formulation of HR related policies and procedures. Make recommendations in line with business needs, industry practice and legal requirements. Provide implementation planning support.

Processes:
Support HR related process reviews through the mapping of existing and revised. Analyze efficiency and relevance and recommend alternatives.

Research and advisory:
Conduct research into requirements received within the Corporate HR team, and formulate an appropriate response, Provide procedural guidance to those that are dealing with HR management issues both inside and outside the HR team, to ensure clarity in all Corporate HR Policy areas.
Policy & Procedure Manual Manage the HR P&PM to ensure all content is up to date, in agreed formats, has the necessary approvals and meets legal requirements.

Projects:
Undertake or support HR related projects as delegated, ensuring effective planning, delivery and implementation support, monitoring and reporting.

EXPERIENCE:
3-5 total years of experience with 2-4 years in related HR role, preferable 1-3 years in similar.

QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor degree in HR or equivalent

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Principles and practices of HR functions & activities, Policy and procedures writing and process mapping.
Local and overseas labor laws.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required.
• High degree of confidentiality and discretion.
• Ability to work on details with high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work without close supervision.
• Ability to take initiative and organize and complete projects.
• Accountable for results.
