Aker Solutions West London looking for a highly experienced Lead Weight Control Engineer for a high Profile Project in the NCS.
Responsibilities and tasks:
Lead Weight Control Engineer is to be capable of planning, directing and controlling the work of a team of weight control engineers.
Must be a good oral and written communicator, comfortable in meetings with client engineers.
Duties will include compilation of weight control procedures and reports.
Checking of work made by sub-ordinates.
To provide weight estimates for cost estimate purposes of offshore installations during concept and FEED stages using historical norms.
Be able to evaluate multidiscipline weight inputs; calculate COG & incorporate into weight report.
Manage, establish, monitor and maintain weight budgets; highlighting potential growth and risk.
Contribute to the overall weight control department deliverables.
Must ensure target dates for deliverables are adhered to and met.
Qualifications & personal attributes:
HNC relevant engineering discipline.
Experience of Norsok Rules and Regulations a benefit.
